28/1/12: The Year Ahead

Thank you to everyone who has watched, enjoyed, and shared our music video for 'She's a Queen'.

We finished 2011 with our final show at the Old Blue Last for It's All Happening which turned out to be a nice finale
to a great few months. It gave us an opportunity to play some of the new stuff we have been working on and all of us
have felt very excited. It is due to this that we have decided to take a live hiatus whilst we sort through all the new
material we have been writing over the last couple of months. We hope to play some shows in April and we will
definitely be back in time for the festival season.

19/12/11: 'She's a Queen' Music Video Released & Free Download

Earlier this year we spent a long and tiring weekend shooting a video for 'She's a Queen' with MVP Productions.
The video starred Melissa Suffield (Eastenders) and Chris Parkinson (As The Bell Rings), and was directed/produced
by Tim Watchorn and David Proud

Deadwax, Chris & Mel, and a four man strong crew slaved away for two days in an old filthy squat in Wolverhampton
to bring the video to life, braving the cold, damp, and the odd rogue chard of glass. After a thorough editing
process we are ecstatic to show you the finished product. A huge thanks to all involved; your hard work and support
have been invaluable and we couldn't have done it without you:

We will be celebrating the release of our debut video by playing our final gig of the year on the 19th December
(Monday) at the Old Blue Last. Entrance is FREE and we'll be playing a load of new material, so come down, party
with us, and jump on board because next year is going to be a banger!!
